More likely if UA leaves *A as part of a merger. That would leave *A with only US and B6 in the US, which is pretty poor coverage. At the same time, however, I would guess UA and US would both oppose B6 joining the alliance.

Not completely out of the realm of reason, but I wouldn't bet on it until other merger/alliance shifts happen.
