Lansing Capitol City airport has announced that a charter tour company, Kenny Tours, will be starting nonstop service from Lansing, MI to Shannon, Ireland in June. Service will be twice weekly, and operate on a leased North American Airways 757-200 branded as Shamrock Express. Service will be seasonal, with flights ending in September.
The economy cabin will seat 156, while the business (Emerald) class cabin will seat 40. I would imagine this will be more like an Economy Plus than a true business class.
This is apparently only the first city announced for Shamrock Express, as they plan on operating seasonal nonstop flights to Shannon from several midwestern cities.
