I understand where you're coming from. Airlines are not treating their customers as good as they used to.
Most of the miles I accumulated were from the credit card, phone, and hotel programs. I only bought the Kelloggs cereal and bars when they were on sale. I got tired of the bars really fast.
I did notice in the newspaper today that Kelloggs shares are up. I guess thats because of all of us here at Flyertalk. Kelloggs should give all of us some bonus miles for helping them.
To make sure you get a frequent flyer seat for those popular cities, you have to book way in advance. Its not right, but thats the way the cookies crumble, as my granny used to say.
