No, I don't need a hardware solution

If it's a headphones situation, you likely need somthing like http://www.boostaroo.com/
If its speakers then you need better amplified speakers that can be turned up louder, or a basic amplifier that you can stick in the middle, i.e. http://tinyurl.com/38dhyp
The problems stems from the way that I record and the solution going forward is to use an audio enhancer to record into my DRV. When I rip DVDs, there is no problem, but sometimes the volume of the file from the DVR is too low. I have several DVRs and suspect one of them is the culprit, but that does not deal with the videos that I have already made - coming on 2Tb.

I have speakers and headphones and they work fine. I need a software solution. I have hundreds of music videos that my girlfriend and I like to dance to and the volume of some are too low to do so without speakers. I don't want to lug speakers around and would like to increase the volume so that I can use my laptop speakers only.

I am looking into Video Redo at this moment. Thanks for the suggestion.
