Courtyard New York Manhattan/Upper East Side review
Just stayed the last two nights at the Courtyard New York Manhattan/Upper East Side on 92nd and 1st Ave. Rate was reasonable. Location so so - about three quarters of a mile to the nearest subway at 86th and Lexington. Lobby is bright and cheerful with couches and a flat screen. Front desk staff is extremely pleasant. Rooms are small, bathrooms average compared to other CY's. They forgot to service my room - first time ever at any hotel chain and I've been a road warrior for 20 years and spent well over a 1000 nights in hotels around the world. I left at 8:30 am and and it was like I left it at 8 pm when I returned. They promptly brought me fresh towels and soaps, etc. when I called on it. Given the number of HI Expresses popping up in NYC that offer the same accomodations for equal or less and throw in breakfast too, I can't recommend this property unless you need to be in that location for business or pleasure.
