I would not recommend the Courtyard Fifth Avenue. The location is fine but it is a small, cramped property (6 rooms on a floor).

We had a strange stay. The first night was a paid stay in a King room on the 4th floor. It was worn and not so inviting. Not very apealing for $319. They moved us the second night. I was using a free night certificate and they were sold out of King rooms so they moved us to a Queen room on the 27th floor. This room was smaller but updated, cleaner and much more inviting. I wish I had reserved this room the first night instead of the King.

With so many great places to stay in NYC, I would not stay at this property again nor would I recommend it to anyone else.
