I am 4 months into a 1 year RTW trip (loving it!) and want to change my routing so that I can make it to the Hong Kong rugby sevens.

I am currently in Sydney. The ticket is AA issued (ex ARN) and I have about 9 flights left. What is the best way to get it changed and is it possible to convert it to a e-ticket? I am presuming that I can call the AA RTW desk and have the flights confirmed then get QF to do it at an airport desk?
