Knowing that it could happen, I was fully prepared for an awful delay and pounding champers in the NZ lounge. We had to return to the gate right as the engines were starting. Luckily we were only delayed about 30 minutes, and got off the ground by 1730 or so

EDIT: they also made an announcement after takeoff that the main cabin video screens weren't working. Don't know if they ever fixed that.
