I agree! Last year I spent 3 weeks trying to figure out how to ship wine internationally. My giftee posted every day or two wondering where his gift was. Finally I gave up on the wine and put together a very nice package of gifts picked specifically based on his interests, clues, and some FT thread sleuthing. I know it was delivered and yet didn't hear a peep or a post. It kind of made me wish I had just sent a $50 amazon gift card.
same here. Didnt hear anything from the giftee for over a week. Spent a lot of time trying to see how to get it into the country. Should of just went with a gift card also.
