If we do miss the next IAH-BJX then the next flight isn't till 9PM and it puts us into our final destination ( San Miguel) at 2AM....
You should call CO right now and tells them you're not comfortable with your connection time, which was reduced after you booked your original flight. They should be able to switch you to the early flight with no problem, free.
You can still do the $25 confirmed change 3 hours before the 6:20am flight, or go to airport and do free standby there; but really no reason to, unless the 6:20am is now fully booked and they can't switch you right now.
