In-page ads - the system redirects your page into a frame with an ad approx. 150px tall on the top of the page, but only about 50% of the time. the rest of the time your site appears full screen. Takes up a bit of real estate but it's not terrible.

Overall annoyance factor - pretty low.
Last time I was there in November, these in-page ads seemed to be tied to certain websites (IIRC, including Flyertalk and UA.com). I didn't think the speed too bad, but I was sitting in one of the areas above the main concourse and only about 15' away from the wireless hub, I believe, so that may have helped.
