That’s pretty much my position as well.

Got the $10 off a buy.com order through GC a month ago.

But this promo sounds a bit more attractive to me as I order a LOT of stuff online...probably 75% of everything I purchase.

So thanks to this thread, I registered for the mileage offer. Not sure if I’ll get it or not but it’s worth a shot.

I’m thinking that Google Checkout needed to attract some 800# gorillas to their new service and Buy.com is a biggie they can use for bragging rights as they sign up additional customers.

This $10 offer through Buy.com was probably funded almost entirely by Google as a “thanks” for being a charter member of GC.
