david4455 in answer to your question.Yes the cabin does look a bit cramped in the picture and in reality it is a bit, but not enough that it should worry you.

I was in seat 3A just enough forward of the seats in 4E/F to give that feeling of having more space.I suffer a touch from claustrophobia but never gave it a thought.Don't worry the seats are big with plenty of personal space not to give you that feeling of being enclosed.
Personally I wouldn't thank you if you said I could have the "prized" seats in row 1 at the front every time - for me row 2 is the best then row 3 but that subject has been an ongoing subject for discussion on the BAEC forum for ages.
Thanks... we have 2A and K both coming and going from SEA-LHR.... when I saw your picture I panicked a bit and thought that perhaps row 1 WAS better....but I showed it to my partner who argees that facing the bulkhead looks a bit claustrophobic...so 2AK it will be!
