Local news is reporting that the masterplan renovation of the Teatro Colon is behind schedule, and the re-opening will not make the deadline of early 2008 that was to match the celebrations of the Centennial of Buenos Aires.
It now appears that the theater will only re-open in late 2008. I will post further updates as I receive more information.

www.shermanstravel.com), and for our magazine (Sherman's Travel magazine) we actually wanted to do a short piece on the reopening of the theatre, for our Spring issue, but if it's going to be delayed until the end of 2008, that poses somewhat of a timing issue.
Please provide any updates you may have as well as any contact names I may be able to turn to for further advice/direction.
