2. I agree that foxmarks is a very neat tool, however I'm not sure yet what my feelings are about having my bookmarks stored on some random website. To be fair, they give you the option of using your own server but I have yet to test it.
Fair point--I'm normally averse to exposing personal data too--but depending on how personal your bookmarks are, the convenience/privacy tradeoff may be worth it for many. Definitely so for me (and that apart from avoiding the lost bookmarks headache)--though my bookmarks may be less interesting/personal than yours...
