The brother and sister-in-law went for a bungalow suite at the regular MGM and they paid a total of around $480. I think they're going to wish they'd went ahead and gone for the Sig for that little bit of a difference.
A lot of the Sig jr suites have balconies, so unless you get there late you should be able to get one by asking. (Presuming you're booked at the Sig, not the MGM Grand!)
Don't forget the Sig has a mandatory $20 resort fee. So that $159/night is really $179/night not including tax. So it's $780 or so all in for those four nights. You can get the MGM using this
promo code for about $300 all in ($275 if you use the $25 restaurant credit). It's not a mini-suite of course but upgrading to one should be pretty easy on site that week.
