Only if you want to change to a different carrier or refund (because you need the e-ticket receipt in order to pull off this much). But, if it makes you feel any better, I've gotten to a point where I don't bother picking up my receipts any more. When things go wrong, I simply buy new tickets and let ctrip sort things out with my credit card company (they can do so much easier if they don't give me that important piece of paper --which I am likely to lose-- in the first place).
