I really hope so, CO will get TONS of revenue from me if they start IAH/EWR-DXB. I can't stand JFK to get on Emirates. Absolutely love EK's F product, but JFK is the most miserable connection to DXB. I've actually been conneting in LHR/AMS to avoid JFK. Even better will be when Etihad finally starts IAH-AUH flights. But CO doing IAH-DXB on a 787 with a new BF product will really make my day!
