Today, I called USAir to ask for elite status match of my CO Platinum status. I was told that it would cost $645 (non-refundable) and that I would have to log in 20,000-plus miles in the next three months to retain that status.
Have things changed that much since 2004?
BTW, in 2005, CO matched my AWA Gold status, without any fee or obligation.
