Try closing your browser and starting another session.
On the other hand, the Emirates site can be very buggy and sometimes the simplest things do not work, so you may just be out of luck today. Try phoning a service centre in another country!
I bought that SQ ticket 10 mins
after EK declined the card.
I guess there is just some bug... The website says miles can be purchased
in service centres in DXB/CMB/MAN/MEL, thus my question whether they sell them on the phone.
may be they can check whether there are seats available before you purchase the extra miles.
Checked that, yes available. The SC however closed between my tries of buying the miles and trying to call them again.
