Flying United in Z class and crediting to Mileage Plus only earns 100% miles. But business class bonus is earned when crediting to some other FFPs. Likewise, Z class flying some other airlines may earn differently. There are no absolutely common classes in terms of fare type/earning rates/etc.
Not only for Mileage Plus, but for ROP too. See the above link. Yes, I am aware that there is no fully common class as it varies by airlines. I mentioned that Z is the discounted business class, and have already mentioned it was an assumption because a lot of airlines classify Z as discounted business.
