How is LY going to make a mix 777/787 deal with "only" half a billion dollars. With list price of a 777-300ER being $250 -- 279 million and 787-8/9 being 157.0 -- 167.0/189.0 -- 200.0????
Well surely it’s going to have to be a mix? They need to replace the 757/767 fleet do they not? Or are they going to run them till they start falling apart like the 742's?

As to the list price, come on ly787 you don't really think they are going to pay anything close to that do you?

I hope they don't get rid of the Jumbo's altogether; it would be a great shame.
They could convert the 744's to cargo to replace the 74'2 (although who cares as long as we don't have to fly in these old birds anymore) and get some 748's hopefully.
Can't see them getting the A380 anytime soon.
