For various reasons, I haven't flown with *A for about a year but, having used United a lot in the past, I have quite a few miles accumulated. UA have just announced that miles will now expire after 18months, so I'm looking to either fly with any *A carrier in the near future or book a trip that will redeem miles.

I want to visit Madrid (from London) for a long weekend anyway, but I can't see that any *A carriers operate this route now, unless I go via Munich, Zurich etc.

I may have to pick another destination instead, but does anyone know an easy way of finding out what routes are available on *A, from London? Or do all carriers only fly between London and their hub city/country?

Not surprisingly, United's website is absolutely no help at all for travel originating outside of the US.
