In June I tried to find out how much it would be for my J ticket to upgrade to F, and they weren't able to do it. It was a TA-issued ticket issued in the U.S. with an AA segment after CX, and the staff in the Pier J lounge couldn't do anything -- they were trying to find out from their US office what the deal was, but there was no response for the 2 hours I was there.
