I know that many Carriers will consider EWR & JFK as the same markets except when it comes to fare prices, be it for Intl or Domestic.
But more important I know a number of people who dont see it that way. A person in Queens isnt gonna go to EWR unless the fare is really alot cheaper out of there or JFK is sold-out. Same for someone in NJ or SI. I guess Manhattan and Westchester can be toss-ups.
didnt know about the quick turn around time @ EWR that as You posted probably has more to do with it then anything else.
But still LY had better get itself into shape at JFK cause I do know some people who pay top $$ for Biz on LY and as of March if DL has those Lie-Flat seats they are switching over to DL
