Hi,

I have a handheld GPS device (GARMIN Legend) that I used to play with for a while. Now I have a built-in Navigation system in my car, and my Garmin toy is sitting on a shelf collecting dust. I was thinking of other interesting ways of using it.

Can anybody confirm if I can use handheld GPS device while flying on a commercial airplane? (1) Would it work at all? and (2) Is it allowed by airlines regulations?
