Just about anything the card holder is unhappy about may be a billing error; including purchases which were not (in holder's view) properly supplied. Take a look at http://www.dca.ca.gov/publications/l...uides/cr_8.pdf or, more comprehensive, "What Every Credit Card User Needs to Know." Local library probably has a copy.

Key is written notice to card company within sixty days of billing date.
