I was just now making a reservation for the Marriott Suites Dulles for an upcoming trip on marriott.com and the only rate that came up for my search was for a suite in the $309/nt range. I just happened to click on the "Didn't find what you were looking for, show all rates" link underneath that rate box and low and behold a long term stay rate of $199 appeared (just requiring 7 nights out of the 11 I had in my search query for eligibility) for the same stay.

What part of Best Rate Guarantee am I missing in this?

Are any other hotels on marriott.com acting this way as well as this would seem a bit disingenuous to make the consumer click through easily missed links to actually get the best rate.
