The inside cabin width of the 787 is about 16 inches more narrow than the 777, which has 9 across in coach. It would be about the same comfort as 10 across on the 777 instead of 9 across. The 787's better lighting, larger windows and smell of a new aircraft will make up for the crammed seat width.
