Any ideas on how to salvage my artichokes?
I steamed a couple of artichokes last night and then stuffed them with a mixture of breadcrumbs, butter, lemon juice and olive oil before placing them in the oven for approx 10 min.
But they're not done. I can't even pull the outer leaves off. I think that I probably didn't steam them long enough but, as they're now stuffed, I'm not sure what to do.
Any ideas on how to make them edible? Should I wrap them in a wet paper towel and try microwaving them for 5 min?
