Yeah its very bothersome at times. Especially if you're mid-flight and want to view a .pdf file that came in earlier...no dice.
While I don't regret buying the iPhone, Apple definitely has a good bit of work to do on future upgrades/versions.
I will say that the cute girl sitting next to me from CDG-LHR was impressed by it, and we had a lovely chat during the flight!
