It works fine HOWEVER...data roaming rate is $.02 per KB so be sure to disable the auto email checking unless you have really deep pockets. I unfortunately had to keep referring back to emails which I had previously read and since the iPhone doesn't store full messages with attachments it had to keep downloading them from the server everytime I needed to look at it.
Also had some issues with the WIFI deciding it didn't like the network I was on and then the phone would kick over to the EDGE network while I wasn't paying attention...more data charges for me!
