NW may be moving the DTW flight to the new S3 wing of terminal 2E in the next few months. Currently the flights depart from a remote/temporary branch of terminal 2E. The one AF operated WorldClub partner lounge is located in the temporary terminal and is actually very good. It beats most WC's with a nice wine selection, champagne, some finger food, etc. It also has a very modern design with leather seating and hardwood floors. There are even a few iMacs to use for free.

I've read that there is an AF lounge in the new S3, so if/when NW moves there I'd assume that lounge will become the NW partner one.

Of course a NW Platinum = SkyTeam Elite+ status which you get access to ALL (except arrivals) AF lounges at CDG day of travel, not just the one I mentioned above for non elite WorldClub members.

Our friends in the AF forum are very helpful and have great stickies for CDG navigation, S3 updates, lounges, etc.
