Combine this with maximum withdrawals of one per year for most programs, and the fact that I have "$80" in money ... I can't even redeem $50 and $25 from the same program thanks to the stupid restrictions.

The more you look at it, the less erewards makes sense.

Even worse, you think you've earned "$75" which in any normal program would mean 7500 miles ... 1 cent per mile is pretty much the standard. But with erewards, $75 in this the inflated / devalued currency is worth only 1500 miles.

Think about this.

I just got a solicitation for a "survey" which is supposed to take 30 minutes and earn me "$8.50" Never mind that the estimates are routinely exaggerated and it will probably take 45 minutes, especially if you actually know what you're talking about and you get bombarded with "drill down" questions for everything you said "yes" to.

So $8.50 gets you 170 miles! In other words about $1.70 worth of miles. That is if you don't run afoul of mileage expiration, and of restrictions on how much you can transfer to any one program.

Figure you've spent 30 minutes; you're getting "paid" $3.40 per hour.

Go get a job in McDonald's or at Wal*Mart. Even if you earn minimum wage, and you'll do far, far better.
