Lucky- I just called reservations to check if I was on the PA or the PB waitlist - I was transferred to a US-based representative, who said that I was on the PA waitlist (2P upgrading with miles) but that the list is cleared by Status - it is not a directo FIFO. I like your answer a lot better though.
