I do not help others with their luggage... if you cannot handle it yourself, then check it. I also unbuckle my seatbelt on occasion before we have parked.
But, otherwise, a pretty good frequent flier!
I sometimes help others with luggage, but only when the aisles are crowded and I'm closest to that person's bag. I'd rather grab the bag myself than have the person hit my head when they try to pull it from the bin. If someone can't lift a bag because it's too heavy, it should be checked.
