"Lost" Credit Card and E-ticket

I recently booked 2 e-ticket flights on-line using a credit card.

Since then I lost my credit card and cancelled it with my bank - only to find it an hour later.

I realise that a condition of an e-ticket on both my flights (different airlines) is the presentation of the orginal credit card used to purchase the tickets.

I'm just wondering if i present the orginal (but now cancelled) card at check-in will i have any problems?

They don't actually "swipe" the card for authorisation do they?

I'm sure in the past when checking in they just manual verified that the number matched the card number on the booking.

Any advice more than welcome?
