I am going to be needing a car for 10 days (DEN-LAS) for an upcoming trip in 3 weeks.

The best rate I have received so far is for the intermediate suv using the C031529 code. Still the rate after taxes is coming out to be $ 599. Base rate is $ 458 for 9 days and 20 hours. I would actually prefer a premium car, but it has excessively high rates.

I want some tips on whether this is the best I could get for my trip or if I should be trying other options/codes?

I have tried various codes that I found on the last couple of pages, except the ones starting with A and some other codes that were deemed problematic.

I just want to make sure that they don't ask for any kind of special ID or actual flyer or something to validate the code and so only want to use the legitimate codes - this is just to avoid a last minute extortion from anyone where I would have no choice but to go along.
