IMHO, DL killed B6 on the two routes out west merely out of name recognition. B6 had no name in ALT and they were just being introduced out on the West Coast. B6 would have been better off waiting to start the transcon routes out of ALT until they were able to start the JFK-ALT route (obviously it has been done yet). I think they are much better suited now to compete for viability in someone else's back yard than they were 5 years ago. Thus, them have service now to DEN, SEA, ORD, CLT, PIT, JFK, SFO, and BOS...all places that have major legecy operations.

Then again, they started their airline at one of AA's main airports.
