I have stayed there maybe little over a year ago. If you take the S-bahn, you will then need to take the subway which will leave you near the bus stop. It is a 5 minute walk over to the hotel, there are taxis there too, but they might not like a fare that would take more time to put the luggage in the trunk.
As mentioned earlier, the bus could find traffic, but it is more convenient and less time I think then changing from S-bahn to subway or taxi. You also have less luggage dragging with the bus...
liked the hotel, it is in a primarily residential area, but buy a multi-day pass and you are a few stops from Munich Center.
