At the check point I have no doubts that the TSA is recording sound. But around the corner in the exit lane I have no doubt believing that the camera is the only thing there. If a confrontation were to happen it would normally be because someone was coming in the exit lane not because thats where it should normally occur.
Don't know. I guess that could depend on the airport. I'd like to think with where DCA is that they would at least have the exits covered as well just in case. Wonder if it's possible that another mic could have picked up sound.
