might be a good question, although it sounded to me like cost was more of a concern to the OP, and as discussed there are plenty of alternatives to buying everything from the hotel. were also only talking about the RC Sarasota.

maybe someone could clarify on dress code. i would think wear and tear would really be the only thing to avoid, in addition to changing at the pool/beach.
