Help! Name error on e-ticket
When SAS shut down their Christmas offer early I sent them an email asking for help. They responded that I should telephone them to make my reservation. I called and reserved ORD-CPH in late February.
Unfortunately when I received my confirmation in last week's mail I discovered they made an error on my name. They entered my last name as "TONG" on the ticket rather than "TUNG". (This is an e-ticket).
I called SAS reservations to try to get this corrected but they said that once a ticket is issued the name can't be changed. They told me that I shouldn't have any problem because my first name is correct and there is only one letter wrong in my last name.
I'm really concerned that I have an e-ticket in the wrong name and I'll have a boarding pass that doesn't match either my passport or my drivers license. Should I be concerned or is this nothing to worry about? And if it reasonably might be a problem what should I do next?
