My friend's phone bill for something like one 5-10 minute call per day was in the hundreds of dollars. She was furious but of course, she knew she had to pay it as it wasn't as if Cunard made a secret out of their rates. She knew right away when she got onboard. This was her first cruise and this lady is quite well off but she felt like the cruiseline was abusing its passengers by milking them with their phone system and as of now, she is totally turned off by Cunard.
