I recently read an article in the NYT about overbooking. It stated that one factor that increases your chance of being involuntarily bumped from an overbooked flight is late check-in. Just wondering: if this is true, then does Internet check-in and printing of boarding pass 12-24hrs before departure make it less likely to be bumped?
