So I can't see why you can't book your tickets now for a date of 30 June, say, and then use them anytime until 30 July.
I checked each web site and yes, the GEX does allow a 30 day "window" for using tickets from date of purchase both single and return. However, the HEX limits single journey tickets to a 3 day window. But thanks for the suggestion!
