But most of these alleged
"private hands" are the Nominee Divisons of Major International Banks..so I dont think you could call them
"private hands" as there is now way of knowing that these Bankers are not Nominees for the Singapore Government.
You will also observe that Singapore Based DBS Bank is the leading Nominee, and not surprisingly they are also the leading provider of their Affinity Credit Card Services to SIA and probably both SIA and The Singapore Governments main Banker.
I am sure further investigation into DBS would most likely show that their Main shareholder is none other than :
The Singapore Government. QED
