AllyB's suggestion is a good one, as I used to live opposite the Marriott in the apartment blocks on the river.
My clients and staff can attest to the quality of the Dome Spa (as I bought some vouchers for a select few a couple of years ago).
The negative about the Marriott is proximity to public transport for an airport run - whilst a taxi is easy to access from Adelaide Street, it's a long way from train station(s).
Agree that it has one of Brisbane's best restaurants, Ecco, 100 metres walk away; as well as there being 3 or 4 other restaurants in the same vicinity, but other buildings close by are about to be redeveloped (Cunnington's Dance Studio closed down at Christmas), so by April it may have a noisy development site next door.
