And after saying all I did about upper deck vs lower deck, I have pre-selected 16K for MEL-LHR. But 16K on a 3-class config is the only upper deck seat I like. 16A is better on the 2-class config. If I can't get that seat, then I was happy with the 24F I had as a backup. But of course I hope to be in Zone A on that flight anyway, freeing up 16K for some fortunate soul who asks nicely at check-in .
