99% of the time I get served as much booze as I want... usually by smiling FA's happy to offer something they think is a nice perk of flying in F. This is an isolated incidet to be sure - not something that's widespread.

My guess is that the FA was just concerned about serving alcohol as BJ alluded to. If she did indeed have some sort of moral objection to serving a lot of booze - it's certainly a tough thing to deal with as anyone who has strong beliefs about anything will attest to.

The bottom line is you got everything you asked for, even if it required a bit more effort on your part. Kudos to the FA for serving it without too much fuss, and kudos to you for not getting bent out of shape about the rather abnormal service.
